The pancreas is a deep organ located in the abdomen. One of its main functions is called exocrine, that is to say, that it plays a role in “the digestion of food, through the secretion of various digestive enzymes”, and will then be translated in particular by fatty diarrhea, because of “a maldigestion and a malabsorption of food and in particular of fats (lipids)”.
